What I Learned From Genesis 1

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;fools despise wisdom and instruction, but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”  ~Proverbs 1:7,33

The planet earth is a modern masterpiece of GOD’s handiwork and the power He wields. The universe is woven together by GOD’s intelligent design. Imagine each individual human thought of before the formation of the world to inhabit it at certain points in time. Humans have the free will to make history whether good or bad, to relay information to the future for the generations to come.

I learned several things from the infancy of creation. That GOD, a spiritual being created everything out of love for mankind. He loved us first by creating all the resources we would ever need to sustain our lives while on this planet. (2 Peter 1:3) Everything GOD had created was good, all we have to do is cultivate it. I guess it goes without saying that the second thing I learned is that GOD created the universe and all of this didn’t just happen to appear. GOD actually spoke this physical plane into existence. GOD ushered human lives into existence by breathing His spirit into us. How cool is that to be made in the image of GOD?

Last, but least, GOD created His word. It has been established since GOD uttered His very first words “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3)  Biblical instructions that would prepare His children for entry into Heaven. GOD’s word would follow mankind through each generation preparing them for the coming of His SON Jesus, who was the word made flesh. (John 1:14) The word of GOD comforts your spirit, builds your faith, and changes hearts. That is just the tip of the iceberg of all the amazing things that the bible can accomplish. Instructions in righteousness is its primary function which leads to knowledge and wisdom. If you want the full benefits of the bible which is GOD’s word you must consume it daily. (Acts 17:11) The word of GOD is a wealth of knowledge. What will you learn?
