“This is good and acceptable in the sight of GOD our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:3-4) A question was asked “Can everyone be saved from their sins?” The answer according to the previous scripture is yes. However, not everyone will (Matthew 7:13-14) see salvation requires change which requires us to put in work that we do not value at the moment. You cannot achieve salvation through osmosis. Salvation is a choice, you must be an active participant to maintain your salvation. It is a path you must trust to follow so your salvation will never falter. So how would you know about salvation and the vital role it plays in your future?
You must read the bible to receive true spiritual facts about your condition when it comes to sin and how to cleanse it from you. Hearing the word of GOD is crucial for your guidance about salvation. (John 6:45) Jesus will be your focus on this journey to salvation. You must believe what the scriptures say about Jesus our Lord and Savior. (Hebrews 11:6) To achieve salvation you must stop the practice of sin, repent and work diligently to resist temptation. (Luke 13:3) Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of GOD? If so, confess it and destroy your allegiance to sin. (Acts 8:37) Are you ready to be baptized?
Again, this is a choice you must make in the eyes of GOD. You are then baptized in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for the remission of sin. Baptism is a submergence and I think this last crucial point should be made that salvation can ONLY be achieved through baptism. The bible has NEVER said you can be saved through prayer, asking GOD into your heart or burning sage and walking backwards WHAT! The delusions of people who do not know the purpose of GOD word, will, and way. Salvation is for those who want to better their lives with the anticipation of getting to heaven.
