Step By Step

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.” There are a few things you must consider if you want to make things right with GOD.  To have His full protection of your heart and acquire His spiritual promises. There is a pattern of instructions you must follow to stay on the narrow path. (Matthew 7:13-14)  B.I.B.L.E (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) The acronym is elementary, however the instructions contained within the pages will lead you to salvation. Step by step you will get closer to GOD’s holy plan for your life. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)  Step One: What are you listening to? It is important that you hear the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that’s found in the gospels of the bible. (John 6:45)  Step Two: What are you believing? You must believe what the gospel says about Jesus. (Hebrews 11:6)

The bible is relevant and actionable in the year 2024. These instructions save lives, literally. Step Three: Why must you turn away from sin? Because the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23) So with that in mind to continue practicing sin would be a fool’s errand. Repentance is your only option. (Luke 13:3)  The ignorance of sin, the love of sin, and the practice of sin is real and raw for a society that is circling the drain. Biblical instructions are the only thing that can pull them from the whirlpool of their life. Step Four: Who do you confess to? To the world that you believe that “Jesus Christ is the Son of GOD.” It’s all about the heart…Believe. (Romans 10:9-10)  Step Five: What must you do to be saved? The same question was asked in Acts 16:30 and Peter answered it perfectly. “Repent and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” (Acts 2:38)

According to 1 Peter 3:21 Baptism now saves us. You must be submerged, buried in the water. You cannot use a shower or water hose which is not an acceptable form of baptism, and Yes! It matters to GOD because He commanded it. You must go under the water. (Mark 16:16)  The most righteous act of obedience is baptism. Step Six: Will you remain faithful after being baptized? Yes! Embrace GOD’s teaching those instructions lovingly laid out in the bible to preserve your spirit for heaven. Remember James 2:17 Faith without works is dead. I don’t know why this scripture is such a big debate. To have faith you must do the work of righteousness. (Revelation 2:10) The step by step instructions of the bible must be lived out in order to reap the benefits of Jesus’ return. (Matthew 6:19-20)
