“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in ONE HOPE of your calling; one Lord,one faith, one baptism,one GOD and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4-6
As Christians we have committed to walking in the light, to approach life in a certain way that reflects our relationship with GOD. (Ephesians 5:8) We are the body of Christ gathered together to worship the Lord and face the world head on. Armed with our sword (the Bible) to combat sin both foreign and domestic meaning to challenge those outside the body as well as those within the body to put GOD first and love one another. We have to uphold our conduct in society to a higher standard for the one who died for us all.
The word of GOD is a mirror, a reflection of ourselves as we scour through our psyche to remove the darkness with the light of Christ. (John 3:19) Our Hope is to believe in the promises of GOD trusting His word would never lead us astray. The fruit of the Spirit is what we must bear in the world through all our circumstances. We must have faith in the One Lord, GOD, and Father because that is what we have been called to do. As Christians we are blessed more than we realize and depending on what you’re going through you may forget sometimes that our ONE HOPE is GOD.
Being called out of the world was GOD’s gift to us for our understanding of the peril we were not being in the one body. We must have the unity of Spirit in humility, gentleness, patience, and love wrapped in the bond of peace. We must build up the body of Christ to increase our faith and knowledge of the Son of GOD. (Ephesians 4) GOD has commissioned His messengers since the beginning from prophets to apostles and now christians to bring forth truth to seed or water, the gospel is needed more than ever. Stay strong my brethren and never lose sight of the goal when it comes to walking in the light. One BODY, One HOPE, One SPIRIT you have been called out.
