If You Want Heaven…

You must accept Jesus as your savior.  You cannot have one without the other. (John 14:6)  Following Jesus Christ is not something you do for the moment.  It is a lifetime commitment that causes your outlook on life to change.  In some cases dramatically, depending on how chaotic your life is.  To believe in Jesus you must hear his words of life. (John 6:45) (Mark 16:16)  Heaven is a place prepared for Christians. (John 14:3)  There is no heaven without Jesus.  Christians are soldiers of the Truth.  According to the Bible, you must become a Christian, you cannot “ask” to be one.

A repentance and confession must take place before you can become a Christian. (Acts 2:38) (Acts 8:37)  If you claim to love the Lord then do all that  He commands and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  (John 14:15) (Matthew 28:19)   You can only get to heaven one way, that’s GOD’s way. You cannot get to heaven by osmosis, it takes dedication, a faith that improves your life. A faith that challenges your sense and sensibility when it comes to being in the world.

As a Christian you are a weary traveler seeking knowledge and wisdom along a dusty trail and heaven is your final destination with the world as your layover.  While waiting for the arrival of Jesus pick up a brochure (The Bible) to get insight into your destination paradise. Once you read the brochure your departure to Heaven can’t come fast enough, but Christians patiently wait for Jesus’ arrival anticipating the day. (Philippians 3:20)  As we read the billboard (The Bible)  at the station “HEAVEN…THE PLACE TO BE.”( smiley emoji)
