In our world today people are debating “reality and truth.” Yet, these principles have already been decided by our Creator. “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (1 John 4 :10) Why does man reject the “reality” of God’s love, of the only truth? The truth of His existence signifies our purpose in a world gone mad. Homosexuality, gender identity, and drag queens all have one thing in common. They want to act or be opposite of what GOD wants them to be. They want a different “reality” than the one created by God. How did we get here?
I guess you can blame Eve, but remember we all have participated in sin, pick one. (Romans 3:23) We have allowed our desires to lead us away from GOD; away from “reality and truth.” GOD has set the standard on how man should conduct his life. GOD is the author of “reality” which is the lens Christians use to see the world. Now our fellow man wants us to see them differently than what GOD has made them. That’s asking a lot of people who are steeped in GOD’s reality. GOD makes no mistakes, you are wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) GOD knitted you together and took a personal interest in you. It’s not my truth, it’s not your truth, it’s not our truth, the truth is GOD’s word, will, way the true standard of life.
For some that truth is unrecognizable. GOD created them male and female with a purpose of being fruitful and multiplying on the earth. ( Genesis 1:27) Man struggles with the purpose GOD has laid forth. Why does man want to rewrite the book of life? I need man to take a deep breath, relax and look at nature to know that GOD exists. (Romans 1:20) GOD’s reality is the truth of the world. A truth that man wants so desperately to get away from. In the grand scheme of things GOD wants MAN…MAN needs GOD! When man gathers with random thoughts we accomplish nothing. However, when man gathers in obedience to God’s word, when man accepts God’s truth, in that reality, we as a collective in one spiritual mind can accomplish great things. GOD is reality and in this reality we cannot make it to heaven without Him.
