If you love Jesus Christ you will follow His teachings. You will embrace His deity. All who come to Jesus must humble themselves, opening their hearts and minds to the truth of the word of GOD. The followers of Christ have a glorious expectation to do what’s right in the eyes of GOD. Christians must praise Jesus with a reverent awe loving their savior who died for the sin of man. We are to bear good fruit to show ourselves approved to GOD. (Matthew 7:18-20) How do we as Christians bear good fruit? Just turn to the pages of Galatians 5:22-23 it lays out our prime directives when it comes to bearing good fruit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” The joyous fruits a Christian must grow in their spirit and feed it to a lost and dying world. They must cultivate these fruits when interacting with our brethren. Our fruit is vibrant when we water our spirit with the word of GOD. Love blossoms when our roots are nourished by joy, peace, and self-control; the strength which Jesus provides. (Philippians 4:13)
The bible teaches us we will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:20) The fruit of the Spirit is the calling card of Christians a constant reminder of the one who died and loved them first. To bear the fruit of the Spirit you must have good soil, a solid foundation. You must be baptized into Christ to fully appreciate the importance of bearing good fruit. No one can love outside of Christ and the world believes that it can. How can the world know love when it doesn’t know GOD? (1 John 4:8) So bear good fruit and bear it more abundantly. Is it possible to show too much love?
