A group of Christians striving to live the gospel.
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.” – Ephesians 6:15
You will notice that we are a loving family of Christians. As a family, our purpose is to glorify God, make disciples, and love one another. In John 13:34-35 Jesus tells us, “I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” When you come to visit expect a personal greeting and a warm welcome.
We offer Bible classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30. We have classes for all ages, as well as adults. At 10:30 we begin the main assembly for worship. We praise God as we sing and pray together. We sing a cappella style congregational singing. You can expect to hear a Bible-based message intended to encourage us to serve God.
Every Sunday we take the Lord’s Supper. We take part in these symbols to remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Before partaking of the Lord’s Supper, we sing songs and hear a short message to help us focus on the sacrifice that our Lord made.
We hope that our worship is edifying and uplifting as we are told in 1 Corinthians 14:26, “What then, brothers and sisters? Whenever you come together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything is to be done for building up.” and in Romans 15:2, “Each one of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.”
Wednesday night classes begin at 7:00, and most of this time is spent in Bible study. It concludes with a short singing, devotional, and prayer assembly, ending at about 8:00.
